Vapor 14係推出一年後，Nike 突然係碎釘版作出輕微既改動！14代既鞋面既Vaporposite網格紋理，被矽膠磨擦條所取代，無疑係會對個波既控制及磨擦有更大幫助~因為以往Nike 99%既平底同碎釘版鞋面設計都係一樣，所以改動好大機會會延伸至平底版 (今次2022新配色並沒有Pro平地版)。
Nike 係同一個系列既同一代改鞋面設計已經唔係第一次既事，幾年前既Hypervenom 2代鞋面設計就因為紋理過淺同埋相比1代既凹凸感有好大分別，飽受評擊，而係歐國杯2016既Spark Brilliance Pack將一代既凹凸鞋面設計帶返黎二代，波Boot界都統移為Hypervenom 2.5代。今次呢個Vapor 14.5代，對香港波友當然有好處，但要留意既係釘版既鞋面其實係無相同既改動，都係沿用返Vaporposite網格型既鞋面紋理，同係鞋身既設計元素（後爭既C字形翼）作出少量唔影響性能既更新。
